Whether you’re in need of a healthy salad or a luxurious facial, BWB is here to guide you through the latest offerings in the British capital.
These days, London is burgeoning with health-conscious beauty, food, and wellness spots. Whether you’re in need of a healthy salad or a luxurious facial, BWB is here to guide you through the latest offerings in the British capital.
Where to detox your body:
My first stop in London this summer will be the new Glow Bar, London’s hottest new health and wellness spot. The atmosphere is cozy and girly at the same time. There, you can enjoy an infrared sauna session followed by a moon milk (superfood milkshake).
Where to shop:
Surely you’re more than familiar with Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand, goop, by now! The big news, however, is that the online platform now has a lovely retail space in Notting Hill offering perfectly curated fashion, homeware, cosmetics, dietary supplements, and fragrances.
Where to indulge:
For all gluten intolerants, this is the place for you. If you have been craving a delicious and warm slice of pizza, you will now be able to indulge again! Discover a gluten-free, plant-based version of your favorite Italian dish inside this all-pink Chelsea restaurant. I tried and truly loved their super healthy and light version of pizza.
Where to get food on-the-go:
The second I discovered this place, I instantly loved it! The founders, Lucy Carr-Ellison and Jemima Jones, use seasonal ingredients and sustainably sourced produce from local farms. If you are in the Belgravia neighborhood, this is an ideal spot for grab-and-go salads or juices. The new location at Eccleston Yards has become my new favorite wellness haven in London for its hot yoga studio and meditation space.
Where to relax and reset:
Founded by Lady Carole Bamford, the Haybarn Spa is a true success in Miami, Tokyo, the English Cotswolds, and now, London’s South Kensington.
The interior is made with warm white and oak, and the yoga studio is filled with light. If you decide to try a treatment, you will be able to try Bamford’s namesake organic beauty line.
Where to get your glow:
It was tea time in London when I met the amazing Amanda Lacey. Since starting her practice more than a quarter-of-a-century ago, Lacey maintains a stubbornly long waiting list at her Chelsea atelier. Her skin philosophy is everything that we love at BWB: she relies on essential oils to target issues such as anti-aging, and all products are made in her own lab.
