Seed + Salt

The new café celebrates clean eating by favoring taste, aesthetics and well being.

Seed + Salt opened last month in San Francisco.
The new café celebrates clean eating by favoring taste, aesthetics and well being and was founded by the beautiful Mo Clancy.

Mini interview with the founder.

How are things doing since the launch?

“Things are great. We have gotten so much support – it has been wonderful. We are learning a lot and trying to really listen to our customers. We are adding a couple of items to the menu and still evolving some of our recipes based on feedback. But we feel really good about providing our clientele with delicious, organic plant-based clean foods. They seem to really appreciate it.”

A serial entrepreneur in fashion, marketing and beauty, Clancy quickly saw a business opportunity when she became increasingly interested in “clean eating” and could not find many places in S.F. that offer good and healthy menus. She partnered with chef Ariel Nadelberg to create healthy foods without degrading flavor, reaching an “almost indulgent edge”.
Clancy tells us:

“People love our S + S Beet Burger with our housemade cashew Ranch, our Eggplant BLT, our seasonal salads (especially our Kale Caesar with gluten free croutons). We also already have loyal fans of our desserts – especially our almond chocolate chip cookie and raw brownie with Nutella frosting. Lastly, people are loving our flowerless Seed & Nut Loaf that we make in house.”

For BWB, the young entrepreneur also shares her beauty favorites:

“I am just as careful about what I put on my body as I am about what I put in my body. I love Tata Harper skincare, Norma Kamali’s Olive Oil and Calcium Linament, Purely Perfect Haircare, Korres Lip Balms and RMS Beauty makeup. I also love”
