Here’s a peak into Alina’s life and all of her food, beauty and wellness favorites.
Though she’s a well-recognized model, you will more often spot Alina Baikova in her workout get-up than in fancy designer clothing. Having come from a modest household, this Ukraine native knows the value of hard work in getting what she needs, whether that is a steady paycheck to support her family or sculpted abs for her next photo shoot.
Alina is much more than just looks, though her powerful eyes and dazzling smile are sure to inspire a double take. She values well-rounded sense of well-being, and takes care of her body, aware of what she eats and how she treats it. When she’s not modeling or working out, you can find her pursuing her passion for flowers through her new app, Alina’s flowers, or participating in fundraisers for The Heart Fund, for which she is an ambassador.
Here’s a small peak into Alina’s life and all of her food, beauty and wellness favorites.
For eating well… I recently became vegetarian thanks to Russell Simons
For working out… I love being active, so luckily my inspiration comes easily. It feels good to lead an active lifestyle.
For being a model… My bank account ;)
Morning beauty routine… I always start my day with warm water and lemon.
Favorite lunch… Sant Ambroeus, West village
In the evenings… Blue Ribbon Sushi
Personal passions… I love all things art, sports and politics. I’m in my spare time I like to spent it at an art gallery, catching a live sports game, or conversing with friends over dinner.
Favorite Travel spots… St Barths. It never fails me!
Your “you” time… The downfall of a life as a model is that you basically have no control over your schedule. Everything is so last minute, so it’s hard to plan any ‘you time’ in advance. You just have to take advantage when you have some down time. I usually get in a good workout at Modo Yoga or Soul Cycle, brunch with friends at Bar Pitti or spend some time at the spa.
Your energizer… My go to energizer lunch is a spinach salad with avocado!
Your indulgence… Coconut and nuts! So easy to take with you and have on hand when you are hungry and need a pick me up.
Favorite restaurant, in the NYC or elsewhere… “The Butter,” “Souen,” “Del Posto,” and “Cook Shop” are some of my favorites! There are too many good places; my list is forever growing.
Must-have skincare products… For the body, I swear by Coconut oil for the body or Weleda Rose Body Cream. For the face, I use Weleda Rose or Dr.Colbert. I like the Balance Purifying Cleanser, the Soothe Night Moisturizer and the The Serum Stimulate. For the eyes, I use Dr.Colbert’s Nourish Eye Cream.
Favorite makeup products… My go to makeup products that get me through the day are Armani Fondation Maestro, Eye Brown makeup by Nars and Blush Portofino by Nars.
Favorite Perfume… Bond № 9 Saks 5th Avenue.
