Get your fill of Pranayama (yoga breathing practice), Asanas (physical yoga postures), relaxation, vegetarian yogic diet, meditation and positive thinking for 9 days under the sun of Zanzibar in the company of Emmanuelle Jeanne, a French yoga instructor from the Pure Nature Yoga center based in Saint-Tropez, France, from November 14th to November 22nd,  2018. The workshop will be conducted in French and English and led by Emmanuelle Jeanne for an international group of participants.

Zanzibar is the ideal destination for a detoxifying and regenerating break during the fall season and in order to prepare for the winter. Indulge yourself with a marvelous sunshine and turquoise blue journey, especially since days are shorter in November in the northern hemisphere.

Information, rates and reservations :

Workshop dates:

Arrival and first day of the workshop on Wednesday, November 14th in Zanzibar. Departure and last day of the workshop on Thursday, November 22nd, 2018.

Lodging available at the hotel Flame Tree Cottage in Nungwi, a village located on the northern tip of the Zanzibar island.

Yoga Workshop rates:

$1,900 USD for a room shared by three participants

$2,200 for a double room (two beds or a double-bed if you are traveling with your partner)

$2,400 for single room

The rates include:

Yoga workshop with Emmanuelle Jeanne: 13 yoga sessions (2 hours each), daily morning meditation practice, theory and initiation to the mantras.
Lodging with breakfast and dinner included (dinners are vegetarian yogic menus composed with fresh and local produce, the dishes served at the hotel are excellent).

The rates do not include:

Airfare to Zanzibar
Transportation to and from the airport and the hotel Flame Tree Cottage ($50 per ride)
Lunch: The rates applied by neighboring restaurants vary from $5 to $15 for a full meal with beverages, fresh juice (seasonal and local fruits such as pineapple, coconut, mango, papaya, etc.) The hotel Flame Tree Cottage offers a lunch selection of wonderful vegetarian dishes or fish for a price of approximately $12. You might visit the small grocery stores in the village to purchase fruits, snacks, mineral water and store them in the fridge in your hotel room. A tea kettle is also provided in your room. Each room has a terrace with table and chairs.
Excursions: the rates for excursions are approximately $30 to $50 per person.

Overview and daily schedule for your Yoga workshop:

Wednesday November 14th, 2018: arrival in the morning at the Zanzibar airport. Arrival around noon at the Flame Tree Cottage in Nungwi, a village located in the north of the Island.
First yoga class from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The classes will be conducted within a space dedicated to yoga and facing the sea. The bird songs and the music of the ocean waves will accompany us during all of our classes.

Excursion for the day (choice between: snorkeling around coral reefs with multi-color fish, visit to a spice farm, swimming with dolphins, visit of protected forests… the island offers many opportunities for nature excursions and a visit to the capital Stone Town is also a possibility). Back to hotel by:
5:00 pm to 7:00 pm yoga class on the terrace roof of the hotel facing the sunset
8:00 pm dinner in the hotel in front of the ocean

Packing for departure. You will feel regenerated, recharged, reinspired, relaxed and ready to face the winter with positive energy and a great supply of sunshine to spare. Return flight from  Zanzibar to Dubaï in late afternoon from Zanzibar town airport.

Friday, November 23:
Arrival at Nice airport

What to pack: summer clothes only – the average temperature is 27 degrees C (or 80 degrees F) day or night – a yoga mat, yoga clothes, swimsuits, sunblock 50 spf, a hat, sunglasses, notebook and pen for taking notes, flip-flops, pareos, mosquito repellent spray for the evening.
