Toddlers usually love smoothies that introduce new fruits and veggies in funky mixes. Check out these two great recipes that are both fun and nutritious for your little ones.

Red smoothie happy shake

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cup of almond milk
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 1 Tbsp. Aloe Vera juice
  • 1 Tbsp. bee pollen
  • 1 Tbsp. almond butter

Directions

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
You can ask your child to count the fruits, let him/her measure the cups and poor into the blender.

Yellow Mango

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cup of distilled water
  • 2 cup fresh or frozen mango (about one mango)
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh mint leaves
  • 3 Tbsp. hemp seeds
  • ¼ cup of pecans

Directions

Let your child cut the mango and scarp the seed.
Rinse the mint leaves.
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Coconut bliss

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cup of coconut milk (canned)
  • 2 cup of banana
  • 1 Tbsp. of raw dark coco powder
  • ¼ cup of Brazilian nuts

Directions

Let your child peel the bananas and cut them in small pieces.
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
