In Paris, BoJus is the new detox brand everyone talks about in the beauty world.

In Paris, BoJus is the new detox brand everyone talks about in the beauty world.
The bottles are made of glass, the products are organic and fresh, and the production is cold pressed.
We are talking ‘nice and good’ craftsmanship à la française !
Unlike other brands, BoJus works closely with a famous naturopathic specialist for each of its products. The goal of naturopathy is to help you design a lifestyle that can help you maximize your vital potential as its best.

While sipping a lemon ginger juice, we met with the lovely Marie-Victoire Debré, co-founder of BoJus.

What gave you the idea for BoJus?

Drinking green juices is a habit I had formed a while ago. It is the first step toward a kind of beauty routine, since beauty is definitely linked to nutrition.

Did you feel that the Parisian woman was ready to move in this direction and start adopting a juice therapy routine?

It was an instinctive move. We were willing to transmit our passion for these products, and today the Parisians are passionate about them too!

With our method, the juices are super ‘powerful’ in the sense that they keep their enzymes, their oligo-elements and their vitamins.

What makes BoJus different?

First of all, a naturopathic specialist designs each treatment. The juices are all cold pressed. We use an extractor instead of a juicer, which can heat up the ingredients.
When heated, the ingredients can lose up to 80% of their benefits.
With our method, the juices are super ‘powerful’ in the sense that they keep their enzymes, their oligo-elements and their vitamins.
The positive effect is instant: the body is alkalized.

Your method is brand new in France but has been applied in the United States for a while.

The United States inspired us, but we have added our ‘Parisian Touch’.

Marie-Victoire shares with BWB some of her favorite spots in Paris

What is your….

Favorite places in Paris: I am still in awe of walking in Paris and I never get tired of it.
I love Paris, its ambiance, its magic and its diversity.
The 3rd arrondissement is an area I came to discover since we chose to locate our Labo BoJus there. It’s a lively area, young, artsy and totally health food oriented.
But my favorite spot remains the Palais-Royal garden for its hidden beauty, flowers, perfect scale and its romantic atmosphere.

A touristic place you love: Dining: La Cigale Récamier (for the experienced tourist!) The Pont des Arts, the Marché Bio on boulevard Raspail on Sunday, and the pleasure of looking at all of these beautiful products coming from the French countryside. And always the Palais Royal for its history…

Place for a beauty Rendez-Vous: The nail kitchen at the BHV by Kure Bazaar. Facial massages by Nicole Desnoué: a little boost for your face.
Mademoiselle Bio or the temple of bio cosmetics (from the cotton ball to the most sophisticated bio cream); Colette for its selection of bio beauty products like the make-up line RMS beauty and the hair products John Masters Organics.

Where to exercise: Jogging in the Tuileries, biking on bike paths, and last but not least, Bikram Yoga in the Marais area.
Take a walk with my father in the streets of Paris, go for a run in the Tuileries, and take a class of “barre work” with Emmanuelle.

A place to indulge: Pousse-Pousse A healthy place to grab lunch, I melt for their raw chocolate cake. Sol Semilla raw chocolates… guilty pleasure.
A high quality cheese from Marie-Anne Quentin in the 7th arrondissement to share with my friends.
