Le Chocolat Pierre Hermé

The pastry chef Pierre Hermé was recently named the « Picasso of Pastry » by Vogue.

Pierre Hermé comes from a line of four generations of bakers and pastry chefs from the Alsace region of France.
He started working at the age of 14, as an apprentice to Gaston Lenôtre.
In 1986, he invented the concept of « Haute Couture Pastry » and became a leader in this field.

In a perpetual search for savor, pleasure, fragrance, texture and innovation, Pierre Hermé is always looking for new ideas and inspirations.
Pierre Hermé believes that what closes a meal should be seen as a «grand finale » and he wants his creations to be up to this standard.

His dark chocolate called “Méditation” is ideal for our September ‘Special Meditation’ issue.
A few bites after meditation will fill our chocolate lovers with a delightful bliss.
