With a total number of 28,764 students enrolled in its supported Catholic schools, Inner-City changes lives of families with demonstrable financial needs.
Every year more than 7,000 scholarships are granted to Inner-City students who will be able to study from kindergarten to 12th grade.
Although two-thirds of Inner-City Catholic school students are living near or below the federal poverty level, an astounding 98% of their high school seniors graduate and 96% pursue post-secondary education at some of the finest universities in the nation including Columbia, Cornell, Holy Cross, Marist, Penn State, and Vanderbilt.
On average it costs Inner-City- supported Catholic schools $7,500 annually to educate the same student that NYC public schools educate for $15,000. The academic program of Inner-City-supported Catholic schools is for students of all faiths.
