Beauty habits need to correspond to your age and your lifestyle. I must admit that it’s not always an easy thing to do. At 20, we tend to forget that the first harm to our skin comes from the place we live in. Then, climate, ground transportation, night-clubs or cigarettes are additional factors that are daily enemies to our skin. The secret is to protect your face without smothering it.
First thing in the morning: clean your face by removing the sebum excess your skin has rejected over the night. I recommend using a cotton disk with Sensibio H2O – Micelle Solution from Bioderma. Then, I would use a fairly rich day cream (adapted to your skin type) with an SPF indicator. The Pro-youth Hydra Life 15 SFP from Dior is amazing! It gives you an instant feeling of freshness and instantly nourishes your skin. Keep in mind that a rich cream allows your skin to be protected throughout the day.
Finally, I recommend applying the Foundation Primer from Smashbox. This will make your skin feel soft and will keep the makeup in place.
At the end of the day, (or in the evening and even if it’s the middle of the night) you must wash your face thoroughly in order to get rid of all the impurities it has gathered throughout the day. Apply some Lait Démaquillant Roséliane from Uriage directly on your skin with your fingers. Once you have finished cleaning your skin, humidify a disk of cotton and dab it on your face. To finish the cleaning process, use the same H2O Solution you used in the morning. Finally, before going to bed, I would apply a serum with a light night cream. It is a mistake to believe that you need a heavy cream at night in order to deeply nourish your skin. As a matter of fact, nighttime is the only moment when your skin breathes, relaxes and regenerates. I recommend the Visible Difference Optimizing Skin Serum and the Skin Balancing Night Cream by Elisabeth Arden.
Last piece of advice: You should scrub your face once a week with the Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser with Orange Extract from Clarins.

When you reach 30, your skin starts to change. It often becomes drier. It is also more sensitive to changes of temperature: between the AC and the outdoors, for example, or during the change of season. Our advice is to adapt to the changes as much as possible by slightly adapting our routine. The cleansing-exfoliating foam or the drying lotion of our twenties is no longer an option.
Between the ages of 30 and 40 and whether your skin is oily or dry, you need a gentler, softer type of care as well as something that is preventing the skin from aging too fast.
I recommend the use of a beauty water or a thermal water spray in the morning in order to wake up the skin. Caudalie Eau de Beauté or La Roche-Posay Eau Thermale Peaux Sensibles. Then, apply a hydrating treatment. In the Spring-Summer, make sure it has a relevant SPF for sun protection. La Roche-Posay Hydreane BB Creme or the new Erborian CC cream HD, skin perfector with SPF 45. Without sun protection these days I also love Joëlle Ciocco Cerat aux fleurs composées for face and neck.
The eye contour treatment should become part of your routine. You will notice that by using an eye contour treatment, the application of a concealer becomes easier, since your skin will then be softer and well hydrated. I use c-quence eye gel by Environ or Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminée.
Do not skip the make-up removing stage in the evening. It is essential to keep the skin clean and oxygenated. If your skin is of the combination type (normal and oily), do not try to make it drier and choose a soft make-up remover. If you enjoy the clean feeling of the foam, it is perfectly alright. Just try to use a soft one such as Chanel Riche Foaming Cream Cleanser. Then apply a soft lotion. If your skin is dry and sensitive, you should go for a cleansing milk like the Joëlle Ciocco Lait Onctueux delicately applied by massaging the skin to avoid irritation. Rinse with lukewarm water on a washcloth. Then, cotton can be used for a lotion.
After that, cream or not cream?
My advice: alternate in order to let the skin regenerate by itself from time to time. Either you end your make-up removal routine with a splash of thermal water spray. Or you can use a regenerating night cream. YSL Beauty Sleep cream, NUXE Creme Fraiche de Beauté or if you like the satin finish of dry oils: Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminée Regenerating Concentrate.
60’s: Lorraine Bolloré
We all have to deal with issues linked to menopause between the ages of 50 and 60.
Not only do we feel them, but they show: the skin of our face and body becomes drier, sometimes visibly so, while the dryness leads to a feeling of tightness.
The hair becomes thinner, loosing strength and fullness.
Luckily, there are many ways to deal with these inconveniences. When you reach menopause, it is a requirement to consult with a gynecologist. He or she will be the only authority as far as hormonal treatments are concerned.
The beauty solutions: there are many of them. First come the dietary supplements which can help with hydration. Then, try to maintain a careful beauty routine starting with a soft makeup removal, followed by a refreshing tonic and emollient lotion and ending with a nourishing cream rich in hydrating and moisturizing elements. In the morning, I use Meso C, an intensive vitamin C radiance treatment from Filorga. I currently use the ISO-STRUCTURE Absolute Firming Day from Filorga and I use it in the morning as well as the evening.
To give my skin some radiance and youthfulness, I have been using the ampoules Ingrid Millet Perle de Caviar Bio-Marine Extracts for some time. They have never betrayed me!
Finally, and this is essential in order to tone up the skin and smooth down wrinkles dramatically – Nu Skin – a little miracle of a device which when used twice a week will give you spectacular results.
