with Véronique Forge founder of
Business O Féminin

The e-magazine that aims at empowering women and gives them confidence to achieve their ambition professionally and in their private life.

Business O Féminin is an online women’s business magazine that was launched by London based journalist Véronique Forge.
After a career working for French TV, where she interviewed influential women, she decided to create a digital magazine that would give every woman the keys for success in their professional lives.

We caught up with the busy entrepreneur to talk about her new business and life in London.

BWB: What is Business O Féminin’s mission?

Business O Féminin aims at empowering women and gives them confidence to achieve their ambition professionally and in their private life. We have a holistic approach to success!

BWB: You have had the chance to interview some truly inspiring women in your career. Is there one story in particular that you can share with us?

It is always difficult to choose one but I would say that Christine Lagarde was one of my best moments. She is very charismatic, bold in what she says, and remains humble and caring to others. What a role model!

London is a great place for women entrepreneurs as the city is truly international and enables new encounters all the time

BWB: You’ve lived in London now for quite a few years, how do you see this city for women who want to become entrepreneurs?

London is a great place for women entrepreneurs, as the city is truly international and enables new encounters all the time. Women’s networks are booming and encouraging women to achieve their goals. New ideas can nurture and expand. Many thanks also to more and more women VC’s who are willing to invest in women. So yes, London is the place to be!

They have one motto: be at the top of their game all the time.

BWB: Would you say that business women in London are very much into Beauty and Wellness or not so much?

I am always surprised by the cultural differences between the different nationalities. Some never do facials and go directly to botox or surgery when they are in their forties.
Regarding fitness, business women in London take it very seriously and dedicate time to it every week. They love to try new places and know about the new trends in fitness, as they have one motto: be at the top of their game all the time.

I have been loyal to Carita facials and its beauty products for 13 years now.

BWB: Now a Londoner, can you share with us some of your favorite places?

Restaurants: I love Roka Mayfair, Scotts for its excellent fish, and Helene Darroze at the Connaught, a great chef who is super kind and very giving!

Healthy lunch: Ottolenghi for its salads and Grace Belgravia Club for salads and juices.

Wellness: At the moment I am addicted to Hydrofit and aqua biking, it is great for cardio, cellulite and tonicity, which is ideal to shape your body!

Beauty: I am very cautious with beauty products. I have been loyal to Carita facials and their beauty products for 13 years now. For my monthly facials, I go to the spa at Sofitel Picadilly, which is the only destination that carries the brand. Otherwise it is Paris,  at Faubourg Saint Honoré.
